The 9th Annual JMTP Pro Am will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at SPORTIME Amagansett. Doors open at 1:00pm and the event begins at 2:00pm sharp!

 Join us for the biggest and best Pro Am in the world! Featuring 128 pro and amateur participants. John and Patrick McEnroe will be joined by fellow tennis legends Jim Courier, James Blake, Rennae Stubbs, Andrea Pektovic, Mats Wilander & Christina McHale. What to expect at the JMTP Pro Am:

There are 8 total flights in the tournament:
1 Legends Flight
1 Non-advancing Flight
6 Regular Flights

• Flights will have eight (8) 12 minute rounds of doubles play, plus a 2 minute break between each round.
• Each team will have one bye round, during which they can scope out the competition, watch the legends flight or just take it easy.
• Each round will be super-tiebreaker, serving 1,2,2,2,2
• Change sides every six points, until one team reaches 12 points. 
• The winning team will receive 12 points regardless of final score, which score will be adjusted to preserve the differential between the teams. 
• The scoring system assures that there is no advantage to fast or slow play, so all participants can enjoy the games. 
• The team with the most total points advances from each flight.  In a head to head tie, the winner of the match played between the tied teams advances. In a tie between three or more teams, the largest margin of victory against all fellow tied teams determines the advancing team. 
• There is one non-advancing flight, where a special prize will be awarded to the winner, and there will be 2 teams advancing from the Legends Flight
• Spectator tickets are available to attend the event to watch the tournament, including our amazing Legends.
• Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day.

What to do after the JMTP Pro Am:

Join us for a unique after party to keep the party going while supporting the Johnny Mac Tennis Project.
The JMTP Pro Am After Party will be held at a private residence in Amagansett. 
The party includes an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, music provided by DJ David Katz, a live auction and more.
Tickets are a minimum donation of $250 per guest and all proceeds will benefit the Johnny Mac Tennis Project.
